It has been a while since I issued an update. First I was on vacation, then events on the home-front overwhelmed me. But, I am still here, have been working on the gallery for the last 10 days, and uploaded a major set of improvements today, so it seemed a good time for another newsletter.
I have been working on the gallery displays. They now have complete input testing and I have standardized the data names between modules and internally, both of which are invisible to the user, but improve reliability and security.
The full size images now have links to return to the standard image, the gallery page, and the previous and next images, which improves ease of navigation.
I made a lot of technical improvements and tiny fixes to the sale item system. Most are invisible other than improving the format of the money display. The other noticeable improvement is the display text and tool tip for the click to purchase link can now be set in the configuration file, making it easier to customize the gallery.
The rest of the work on sale item was in preparation for the next step in upgrading it. That work will start tomorrow. Hopefully it will be done within a week or so.
